recommends careful checking of every product and informs us about any issue within 24 hours of the products getting delivered. This shall give us ample time to replace incorrect or unsatisfactory products. Notifying us within 24 hours of delivery also gives us added insurance when delivering products. In case there is an issue with the project while it is in transit, we can discuss the same with our delivery insurance provider. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours of products delivered at your doorstep, we will fairly assume delivery of products completed in perfect condition, and there are no issues with it.

We advise you to share complete information with us about product shortcomings, complete with photographs. It would help us in checking the product fault and replace the same. In case, any of our product has even minor damage like a scratch or a dent while taking it inside the building or installing it, it will not be considered a valid case for returns. It would be considered as construction or manufacturing defect. It is thus imperative that you inform us about any damage or fault within 24 hours of the product delivered at your doorstep. Failing to do so, we would safely assume that the product has been accepted and you are happy with it. In the case of construction or manufacturing defects, a limited warranty is available.

In case the product is not faulty or incorrect, but the customer has informed to the contrary, he or she will have to pay the charges for a return. It includes delivery charges, besides, return collection charges if the product was delivered with free delivery charges. (Check our delivery charges for more information). Customers also have a choice to arrange for the return of the product through their chosen courier service provider with appropriate insurance at their cost. They will receive refunds minus the delivery charges that have paid for.

Here are a few important points in our Return Policy to keep in mind.

  • Return of product permitted only with the original invoice.
  • The products must be returned well packed, unused, and in a re-sell-able condition. It must also include its original retail packaging.
  • In case, the product is returned in a not used or damaged packaging a certain amount would be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Notify us about faulty or incorrect products within 14 days of product delivery. Post this time this request to refund for the damaged products would not be entertained.
  • After the product has been fitted, installed, or attempted to be fitted, it would be considered as the product accepted. Such goods will not be considered as “faulty” or “damaged in transit.” Such returns will not be accepted.
  • Made to Order, Customized, Bespoke Product Orders cannot be canceled as such products fall under the purview of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and are exempted from the right to cancel.
  • In case we fail to deliver products owing to the non-availability of the delivery services in your area, we will get in touch with you via phone or email to discuss other options. We shall also discuss the alternative of paying additional charges to our standard rates of delivery. If these options works, we shall inform you about the same on the phone or email.
  • If you buy products listed under the reduced-price category because of some minor imperfections, the products will not be considered for a return. It is because e assume that you have already gone through the product descriptions and are ready to buy the product at a reduced price that comes with minor imperfections.
  • If the customer accepts a part refund for any defective or damaged in the product, then it voids the guarantee/warranty for any product replacement or any further compensation as the customer is accepting/buying the product as it is.

HoptoShop products are made up of different materials, designs, sizes, and colors that can change with time after coming in contact with harsh or soft chemicals like bleach. Such products will not be considered eligible for return or refund.
